One of the many Chaing Mai shopping areas which sell silk and gifts catering for the tourist .This one has three large display shops selling a very wide array of silk clothes, jewelry, wooden carvings and furniture, ornaments and much more. Prices vary from fairly cheap to the expensive. The silk village has an interesting display of how silk would have been produced in the past by hand. Your tuk tuk or taxi driver will be happy to take you here as they will probably receive a small commission from the shop owners.
